    2 more E. coli case confirmed in B.C.

    Two new B.C. cases of E. coli infection related to the XL Foods Inc. recall have been confirmed, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control says.

    The infection were caused by the O157:H7, the same strain of E. coli observed in the XL Foods safety investigation, which brings the total number of cases linked to XL Foods to three in B.C., the centre said in a news release Friday.
