This is Obama's type of change? I don't know enough to decide whether or not she's the second coming but so far I like what i know of her as govn'r- I swear I'm No Mcainiac- I think he would have been a good vp choice for a real presidential canidate

When either McCain or Obama decide to get down to facts and actually show how they're going to "change Washington", it should be an interesting campaign.

as a Canadian I'm more interested in our election that will probably be in October. I have to admit that switching back and forth from Fox News and the "mainstream" American news channels is amusing to see the different reactions from the "panelists" as it was when Mr Obama made his speech at the Democratic convention, I actually appreciate the fact that Mr McCain served his country, however I'm not sure that makes him the best choice as leader, it seems neither candidate has much experience

I think that Obama's work as a community organizer in Chicago (9 million, metropolitan area) involved more people, more powerful forces and more significant experience than her, being mayor of Wasilla, Alaska (population 7,000) .

Govenor Palin of Alaska is going to be annointed ??? I think they all believe they are going to be annointed.....as far as I can see she has been put into a position of a puppet...is she prepared to sling the social sh-t with the rest of them. Oh well it will make a comical movie.

I would ask Gov.Palin to have her daugther get a DNA test to confirm who is the real father of the child. Also why she does,nt talk about the real issues ????? BUSH the economy and the average worker, plus the health crisis.

"Religion" is part of her energy proposals as well. Just prior to discussing Iraq, Alaska's governor asked the audience to pray for a $30 billion national gas pipeline project that she wanted built in the state. "I think God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that," she said.
