I think it is time for this country to have a weeks vacation. If everyone stayed at home for a week think of the money oil producers would not have. The government would have to do something. I have had to quit a job because I didn't have the money to travel to work. I wasn't paying rent at that time. My car broke down and by the time the repairs were made there was no money for gas. I have never seen a country so full of greed. It makes me sick to my stomach.

We've had hydrogen on demand cars (no storage tank) in the Philippines since 1968. The IMF put a stop to it. Aren't you sick and tired of the Rockerfellers' of this world getting rich and keeping the poor, poorer?

well i guess i will buy only 6 packs of smokes this week instead of the usual 7..just kidding helen has a point.. the big car makers in the states already had electric cars on the road yet when people wanted to purchase them they took all the electric cars and destroyed them. the companies were hoping that the vehicules would be a flop, instead people drooled over them. so much for innovation..

And another thing...they have had the know how & the technology for years to maufacture vehicles that do not have to use oil or gas, but of course they won't do that until they really have to because they won't get the almighty buck that they are getting now. They will take their time to make sure they can squeeze every last cent out of us before they do anything, & when they do..it will start with one thing then you pay for the upgraded versions constantly.

Sure wished I owned an oil company right now...I would be filthy rich. They can give all the excuses they want for raising the prices, but as far as I am concerned, they are taking advantage of any situation that they can to make the bucks. From what I have heard, (can't confirm if true) there is more than enough oil to last in Alaska. However, we will continue to pay the high prices to line their pockets & empty ours.

ITs going to get worst before it gets any better. but just like every thing else , "what goes up must come down". one thing is for sure though, their is enough oil for at least another 200 years or so and by then other form of fuel will have been perfected. I am personally betting on fuel cell or air pressure for cars. As for every thing else who knows. we basically need oil for every thing these days so they better come up with a replacement soon or the future will be very grim indeed.
