Irrespective of the pressure on Senator McCain he cannot be what he is not. He is a Republican with Republican values. Money and Big Business drove him and the economy to where America is today. Also, creating "high expectations" can backfire.

I just saw on the news that the US is no longer a financial superpower. With them being so far in debt thanks to the war and now the financial bailout. Personally I don't think it makes a lot of difference who is president as the US government is run by the lobbyists, and I don't know who runs the CIA as they seem to do the same covert operations no matter who is in power. I especially wish they would stay out of Canada's business so that we can make our own laws.
