The council of Islamic Courts (CIC) took over the country around August 2006. Their rule lasted for 6 months, and in those 6 months, Somalia saw peace and stability it had not witnessed in 15 years at least. Islamic rule was what brought this about. America, in it's continued hatred of Islam (and Africans) could not tolerate this new found peace they had, so now they are killing them. Study the history of the start of this war, u'll know. I hope the Americans lose miserably.

Mogadishu is full of criminals. I say drop a big one on them and let god sort it out. These blacks have resorted to their animalistic history. They can not even be compared to human beings. History repeats itself again. Thats the problem with Africa--its full of blacks.

Why doesnt the UN restucture Africa the way the people there want it instead of adhering to colonial borders forced on the residents years ago?

Without an end to the clan-based violence that plagues Somali society, there can be no solution and no peace. Regrettably, the Somali clans hate each other as much as they despise the Ethiopians who occupy Mogadishu or the Westerners who tried to aid them in the 1980s and 1990s. Their inability to unify as a people is the reason they suffer by their own hand. The West and the UN are becoming tired of dealing with Somalia and will eventually lose all interest unless Somalia wakes up.
