So, to repeat my earlier question, what is this former Obama advisor doing meeting with Hamas (BO says he didn't know or authorize these meets) and what does this portend for his future support of Israel? It doesn't give me a lot of confidence when someone is running for president and doesn't know that one of his people is involved in such delicate and embarassing matters. Has BO come out definiteively and pledged support for Israel? Has he repudiated Jimmy Carter's meetings with the other side?

You mention unmanned planes etc. in one of your comments. This is the direction of military thinking and paradoxically, the key to future peace. When one side develops massive military superiority over the other, peace results and sick societies will change. The final actions of WW2 and modern Japan are proof of that reality. The Palestinians will only seek peace when their hope for Israel's destruction has been crushed. The sooner, the better.

Lefties in the west, like yourself, are the fools who enable this mess to continue. Your idea that negotiations and good intentions will somehow fix the inherent sickness in Palestinian and Arab society is misguided. Education would work if we were the ones educating them. Unfortunately we aren't and never will be. The secret to peace, unfortunately for the Palestinians, is for further advancements in military technology on the part of the Israelis.

Ahdinenutjob just adds to the basic problem. He and his piss-ant country represent hope to Palestinians. Their hope is that Iran has the intention and the ability to engage and defeat Israel and 'restore' Palestine. It is a false hope. Iran has neither the desire nor the ability to match Israel in war. Iran, like the Palestinian leadership, is in the extortion business.

Your anti-Israeli / pro-Palestinian bias blinds you to the reality of the situation. Talks at the point of a gun are not negotiations, they are extortion. This was the fundamental flaw of the Oslo accords. Israel negotiated in good faith while Arafat, with the implied threat of continued violence, did not. For peace to come, there needs to be a sincere desire for it from both sides. The Palestinian leadership is in the extortion business, not the peace business.

Israel is not going to fold up its tent and put its people at the mercy of murdering terrorists. History is full of that result. Israel has in good faith negotiated for the existence of a Palestinian state with guarantees for Israel's security. In essence, peace. The Palestinians again chose to continue the violence. That all happened during the Clinton administration so you can't blame Bush for that.

To suggest that Israel sit down and 'negotiate' with these people is preposterous. It would be the equivalent of Munich in 1938, except we already know Hamas' stated goal. As far as Hamas being elected by the Palestinians - that gives you the answer. The Palestinians are choosing to continue the violence, as they ALWAYS have. Can't you see that this is the basic problem? As long as the Palestinians continue choosing violence, there will never be peace.

After I dismantle your points you never even attempt to back up or support anything you've posted. You never acknowledge your mistakes in your posts either. Your logic is faulty and most of your points are rooted in emotionalism and 1960's liberalism. The reality is that Israel exists, just like Canada, Poland or Thailand. Hamas's stated goal is the destruction of Israel. This is not an error in translation or meaning or anything else - it is a fact.

Your latest link, again, is not that of a reputable news website. A left-wing kook posting left-wing propaganda on youtube is not a news website. You could simply admit that your claim that the US controls Israel is not backed up by any fact. Essentially, that is the case with almost everything you write. The nonsense you write is an uninformed, emotional opinion of someone with an anti-US, anti-Israel bias. Your knowledge of the facts of the struggles since 1948is is almost non-existent.
