I think the Media is very good a reporting one sided stories... If an officers deploys the taser at someone it's because of behavioural and situational factors! Not just because he did not pay a fare. If that's the case, it's wrong. If the person did not pay the fare (criminal offence) and while the officers are dealing with him, he becomes combative then the police are justified to use the device! The public should start worrying about organized crime that is all over and dangerous...

You people aren't being fair I am a police man & how do you expect me to run after a suspect after I just finish eating 12 donuts drink 4 cups of coffee? I am 40 pounds over weight look & feel like a pig ( guess that's how I got my nickname ) & you want me to run can't see it happening. Some of my colleagues strut around airports they just sit down for a few donuts & they get a call that there is a distraught passenger. They have to leave the donut on table & respond to call. There are angry so they use taser & get it over with after all they won't reserve our table as there are to many customers waiting & we have DONUTS TO EAT
While I totally disagree with people that shoot police officers I believe that in some cases they bring it on themselves. How much abuse does a uniform permit you to dish out without reply.especially when dealing with people that life has already pushed around to an extent that most of us couldn't imagine
