If I was in the position to be followed by these useless vermin and was going to be charged with assault, there is no way there would be a slight mark on a cheek. There would be blood on the ground and a lot of broken cameras.
I am really tired of hearing about Britney. If she is not already crazy, all the harassment from the media will make her that way. Give the chick some privacy so she doesnt have to live under the scrutiny of cameras all the time. Half of the bad things would never happen if some idiot was not pointing a camera in her face and this is a prime example of that fact.
If you think about it.. If it were the president getting swarmed like that.. the paparazi would have there equip broken and taken, their heads slammed all over and many jailed for a month. Perhaps thats the answer. The photogs take huge liberties... the body guards should be allowed to do the same. Perhaps establish a 30 foot legal parimeter or make photos illegal without signed release forms. The kid doesn't deserve this harrassment...nobody does.

omg step up to the plate. She is your daughter and you were helping her out. Taking money from her is just wrong. You are to be there for your child through thick and thin. Not when you think you can get money. I think that the paparazzi should not be able to take pics except at a distance. And not of their children unless they say it is ok. I dont blame the celeb's for getting mad and some hit people and thing. I would do the same thing if it came to my children.
paparazzi are the scums of the earth. they are not photographers, they are scavengers, and they give photography a bad name. i wish all the paparazzi would get their feet ran over by all their victims. this will do photography a great deed to eradicate paparazzi from being called "photographers".
OMG, did i just read that right?? Her father is seeking payment for helping his DAUGHTER get her life back together? Including cooking occasional meals, and this really disgusts me, visiting her in the hospital? Gotta love parents that expect to be paid for taking care of their own children.
