What charges are we talking about for an innocent 15 year old boy who was caught up in a war he had no idea about. When children are caught up in a war zone they are most likely to react in self defence. Canada should bring Omar Khadr Back to defend his actions as a child caught up in a war zone. Children should not be penalized for defending them selves.

THIS IS A 15 YEAR OLD BOY WHO WAS A CHILD. HE WAS NOT IN THE WAR PEOPLE. HE IS A BOY WHO WAS CAUGHT UP IN A WAR AND REACTED TO A SITUATION LIKE ANY OTHER CHILD. A 15 YEAR OLD BOY WHO FOUND A GRENADE NEAR HIM AND THREW IT AWAY FROM HIM. THAT IS NOT A CRIME. THAT IS SELF DEFENCE. ALSO, HE SHOULD NOT BE TRIED FOR HIS FATHERS ACTIONS. NO CHILD SHOULD PAY FOR THEIR PARENTS CRIMES. CANADA SHOULD BRING BACK OMAR KHADR BACK TO CANADA TO STAND A FAIR TRAIL LIKE THE WOMEN HELD IN MEXICO PRISON.

This boys family are supprters of al-Qaida. Like it has been said before "If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck". The States should hang this little pecker just like all the other al-Qaida members. Under orders from one of his superiors (our enemies),this individual took the life of one of the guys from our side. He is an enemy combatant and should be put to death.

America took care of Conrad Black, for us, because our country's been pussified. Now they can take care of this punk, too. THANK YOU, AMERICA.

Am I the only person that is getting sick of hearing about Omar Khadr? Send him to U.S. prison or deport him back to Afghanistan, but please, don't bring him back to Canada. We have enough problems here without importing terrorists on humane grounds.

This 'boy' was well aware of his actions. He is not really a Canadian. He committed a crime in another country, and must answer to that country. Why do the bleeding hearts not tout their line about not interfering in other countries policy and culture now?

the friendly fire incident killed 4 Cdn soldiers and those responsible were charged and convicted. The question of course is how one relates to another.

continued: KAHDR and his family immigrated here for a safe and convenient place to continue to operate as a terrorist family. It's too bad the soldiers that took him prisoner did not have the foresight to put an end to his wretched life. I suggest that those whose only world views are from the TV actually get out and travel to see what the different beliefs are. Most countries, 15 is old enough to support a family and fight. We should kick the rest of his family out of Canada.

Lot of people here seemed to have forgotten that this young man comes from a family that was all involved in raising money for terrorism, that his father and siblings were all killed at different times while engaged in terror activities. Why are bleeding heart liberals always more concerned for the rights of those that would do us harm? He knew exactly what he was doing at fifteen, and should he be released, after trying to sue to get money to give to terror groups, he would probably do it again
