H5 avian flu virus confirmed on B.C. farm, CFIA calls it 'low pathogenic' strain

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency confirmed Saturday the presence of an H5 avian influenza virus on a commercial turkey farm in British Columbia's Fraser Valley.
