Brenda was said to have mental tendancies in prison - has she been checked out here? It really seens strange to get a years wage ($25,000.) after being fired - it sounds like hush money to me! Why do we have to pay her $3,500. fine when she had all this money? I guess the judges are saving the jail cells for people who have accumulated parking tickets or someone like Latimer. The Mexicans won't believe a word Canada has to say after this! $80,000.- private jet, get real - what---no steak?

I was watching a local call in show last night and the cost that every taxpayer made to pay for Brenda Martin's flight home was 1/4 of a penny! That was straight from either Brenda or her friend Deborah's mouth (who was also on the show) so those of you who are complaining about paying for her flight... sorry if you can't afford 1/4 of a penny!!!!!

Thew preferential treatment she received at Grand Valley institute was appalling. She was given contact visits and phone calls immediately that "normal" inmates sometimes have to wait months for. Visitors are normally required to call 24 hours in advance to schedule a visit but Ms. Tileman was allowed entry just by showing up. I had to wait 4 months for a "contact" visit with my wife. Certain staff at Grand Valley were certainly showing where their noses were when Martin was there! Disgusting!!
