He got fired for mispeaking? Weird, in most of the other parties that is how they get elected and keep their jobs.

How about this, a career in the military or the RCMP then retirement and a pension. Sounds good until you hit age 65 then your CPP payments are deducted from your pension. Well its a federal pension no big deal say most people, until they discover that's not the case if you are a politician. Hey how about a flat tax rate 15-20% off the top. Increase spending in the economy, but then the big boys might have to pay more, lol. Hell some might have to pay period.

tired of this is the provincial Saskatchewan NDP. We cannot stop a group from running, that is democracy. The fact that they have seats mean someone somewhere chose to vote enough for them. Ernest it does seem unacceptable for severance over a resignation, it happens in the Ontario civil service and the big banks. Why I don't know. In smaller business you quit you lose.

and we as citizens paid for one more golden handshake to a party member of the defunct and useless NDP.Why do we even allow special interest parties like this or bloc quebecois even exist in a Canadian government? And we are probably going to have to pay him a pension for his service that he didn't do also.

No real surprize ... Typical of NDP ..AND all the other Party's there's soooo much cream being milked off OUR milk jug it's unbelieveable. For once people ... think what it means to the income tax YOU send in each year (not even counting all the other damned taxes) $130,000 severence ... means I worked and paid my ncome tax for 6 yrs to just pay that.. I could have been income tax free for that period. People ... start to realize WHAT the $'s these people are throwing around really means

You resign and get a severance package? WT[profane] We work hard and get taxed hard... yet, these government people get paid more than their worth. If I resigned from my position, I'd get NOTHING... time to consider, seriously consider a career change... too bad, I have a spine, though.
