What is a 15 yr old out on the streets at that time drunk and disorderly...they should throw the books at the parents and let the police do their job.

Bring back the death penalty! This prison guard ought to be charged with treason and crimes against humanity. Any government employee who lies under oath, especially a politicians, police officer, jail guard etc, ought to face the death penalty because of the power they have over ordinary citizens. This girl could have died in jail. And imagine the psychological impact of being treated so unfairly. Without the video, she would go through life living with character destroying lies by a gov worker

Facts: Guard lied about 1) being assaulted ( the justification to tethering the detainee); and 2) saying the detainee was asleep ( the tape showing detainee was very awake, as anyone would be put into a known "stress position) Question: Are police and corrections officers a law unto themselves, able to quash both a person's rights and dignity?

There definitely needs to be some changes in the future in a case like this. Being tied to a belt underneath a door is bad enough, but someone going off shift while a juvenile is in a distressed state does not seem very honorable. Also why is there not a padded cell in a location where a drunk juvenile is being held. If the police station where she was held does not have one, it seems they should have made stronger efforts to relocate the girl

My mistake, not lying in court. But lying to the crown counsel. She should still be punished!

ya ya lets send a message to teens that drinking underage in public is not acceptable. But why dont we also send a message to the police that lying in court AGAIN is not acceptable. And their use of force is also not acceptable. Grabbing her by the throat? Im suprised they didnt taser her like every other cop seems to do.
