If you have the option, you can just dump Telus. I've just signed up for digital phone from my cable provider. It's cheaper all round. And I'm a Telus shareholder - waiting until their shares go back up a bit before I unload them. This court ruling won't help share prices. But the solution to this is not to use them if you have an alternative. I haven't used long distance myself and expect a refund in due course. However, I won't be holding my breath.
i noticed it in november and had it removed off my bill right away, i can't believe telus got away with the extra charge for so long, and when is the user cellphone fee going to be challenged too.
