waitin, I'm discusted of your unreasonable satire. Of coure rubbles and dangerously damaged buildings caused by the earthquake need be cleared. You want them to still stay there to cause more injures? Comparing with US government in Orleans, Chinese government did more. How can you say Chinese officials will abuse charity funds? You can't spread rumor without evidence. I know you as a cold-blooded loser won't help earthquake victims, but don't discourage others with your lies from donating money

Ummm. China has a military that exceeds the entire population of Canada, Australia etcc..There are more soldiers in China than the Western States of America put together. I should hope that this horde could accomplish the task with Emergency situations. It is all that they invest in, military, not the people themselves.

"In Yingxiu itself, dynamite was being used to clear rubble and unsafe buildings" Don't want to leave smoking guns behind that could incriminate good party officials who tried their hand at the good 'ole "cut-corners school buildin' " now, would we? Especially that the good ole party boys are probably busy trying their hands at the 'ol "charity-fund-distribution-starts-at-MY-home-thank-you-very-much-peons" and are so busy funnelling they cant really deal with all that "legal" bulltihs, eh?

I think it's worth noting the differences between Chinese reaction to this disaster and the way the U.S. handled Katrina...the Chinese people load fuel on their backs and hike into the disaster area to help out...the Americans parked a bunch of ambulances on the highway in Florida & waited for Katrina victims to come to them. It's always sad to see something like this happen, but it's truly amazing to see the work ethic of the Chinese people. The Great Wall didn't just pop up on its own...

Sharon is like 50 years old. You think she'd be a bit more mature and wiser, after that's what most people expect of seniors. But no, Sharon decides to act like a 5 year old. Saying stupid, ignorant and insensitive words about the Chinese people and China. So does the US have 'bad karma' too? That's why 9/11 happened eh, Sharon? Dumb. Americans would be up in arms. Don't you think the Chinese people would too? SHAME ON SHARON! GO CHINA!

"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," No one should be unkind to anyone else? Yes, Sharon, what you said was completely kind. [Sarcasm]. In case she hasn't noticed, not all Chinese are acting towards Tibetans in this way. She shouldn't be stereotyping all Chinese as unkind towards the people of Tibet, as it's mostly just the government. She should do her research before saying anything that controversial.
