Alleged Calgary gang member deported to Vietnam

A 25-year-old Calgary man and alleged gang member has been deported to Vietnam.

Tien Ngoc Ho has been in jail since 2009 when police found seven loaded handguns hidden in his home and his girlfriend's car.

After serving his sentence, he remained in the custody of the Canada Border Services Agency pending a decision on his deportation order.

Calgary police say Ho is an associate member of the gang FOB Killers.

He has not lived in Vietnam since he was a child.

The CBSA released a statement Monday saying Ho had been removed on Aug. 13 under escort by CBSA officers for "serious criminality."
