Edmonton abduction: 3 missing boys found

Three young boys reportedly abducted Friday morning in Edmonton have been found safe and unharmed.

The Amber Alert issued around 12:30 p.m. Friday was cancelled just after 5 p.m. after a man and a woman were arrested by RCMP in Evansburg, Alta.

Police were alerted after the suspect vehicle was seen on private property. The RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Edmonton Police Air-1 helicopter were sent to the scene.

Edmonton police say all three children were found safe and unharmed.

Earlier on Friday, police reported the boys, aged two, eight and nine, were taken by a man around 9:45 a.m. Police say that at the time, a woman was believed to have been abducted as well.

A neighbour told CBC News that he saw a man, a woman and the boys leave the home together.

Officers spent much of the day going door to door around the Delwood neighbourhood canvassing for information.
