An amber alert has been issued as Peel Regional Police seek two young boys they believe were abducted by their mother.
The two boys, eight-year-old Benny Gallago-Hammadieh and nine-year-old Louis Gallago-Hammadieh, were last seen at a foster home in Brampton, Ont., at around 11:20 a.m. Friday, Peel police say.
Police are looking for their mother, Randa Hammadieh, 33, who is believed to be with an unknown male driving a 2006 silver Dodge Caravan that possibly has Quebec licence plates.
She is described as being about five feet five inches tall with a tan complexion, heavy build and wearing a long white dress.
Benny is described as four feet tall, weighing about 60 pounds, with black curly hair and a cut above his eye
Louis is described as being about four feet 10 inches, weighing about 85 pounds , with short black hair and round eye glasses.
Police said it's possible the mother is trying to take the boys to Quebec.
Amber Alerts are called in cases of suspected abduction.
