Police in Delta, B.C., confirm a local man wanted on sex assault charges has been arrested in Australia.
Jamiesen Glendinning, who was a baseball coach in Delta in the 1980s and 1990s, has been charged with indecent assault, sexual assault and gross indecency for alleged incidents involving an undisclosed number of male and female victims of elementary and high school ages.
The 63-year-old was arrested, charged and released in September 2010.
He was set to face charges in court in June but did not show up.
Delta police say Glendinning was found and arrested by police in Sydney on Friday.
