Siblings' bad behaviour in cabs leads to their arrest, police say
Two siblings were charged in Barrie, Ont., this weekend after police say they behaved badly in cabs.
Barrie police say a cab driver flagged down a police officer in the early hours of Saturday morning, alleging that one of his passengers threw a debit machine out the window.
The male passenger ended up being arrested for mischief.
As the officer investigated the taxi driver's claims, police say that a female passenger became "belligerent" and was interfering with the investigation.
Soon, another cab pulled up, alleging that the same passengers had been in his own cab and had thrown a GPS from the vehicle.
A 19-year-old Barrie man has been charged with two counts of mischief and one count of breach of probation.
Police say his sister, who is also 19, was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
