Batman appears on Suicide Squad film set in Toronto

Looks as if Batman will be in Suicide Squad after all.

Ever since Warner Bros. announced David Ayer's upcoming DC Comics supervillain flick, fans have wondered if the Dark Knight would appear to take on the cast of rogue villains.

Bystanders during one of Suicide Squad's nightly film shoots in Toronto on Wednesday were given a big hint.

One night after fans were treated to a first glimpse of the new Batmobile in action, Batman himself made a surprise appearance.

Video taken Wednesday night appears to show a stunt double, wearing the iconic black suit (minus the cape), zipping around on the back of the Joker's sports car as it raced though city streets.

The real Margot Robbie?

While neither Dark Knight actor Ben Affleck nor The Joker's Jared Leto was seen on set Wednesday night, the real Margot Robbie was captured on camera by few film buffs.

The Australian Wolf of Wall Street actress, who plays the Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn, was spotted in the passenger seat of the Jokermobile.

Suicide Squad, the first follow to the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, also stars Will Smith as deadly assassin Deadshot and Joel Kinnaman as the leader of the Suicide Squad, elite soldier Rick Flagg.

Fans who can't wait for the Aug. 5, 2016, release date have been gathering at nightly movie shoots that have shut down some of Toronto's iconic landmarks.

Over the weekend, the cast and crew filmed a helicopter crash in the city's financial district, and earlier this month, a train scene shut down the Union Station bus terminal. Yonge Street was shut down last month for another chase scene and, prior to that, for a plane crash.
