First One Direction and The Wanted, now Cher Lloyd heads to USA

First One Direction and The Wanted headed stateside, and now Cher Lloyd is set to attempt to crack the USA charts.

Cher is one of the acts lined up to perform at the SXSW Festival in Texas later this month.

And whilst she's over in America she's going to be meeting up with the US X Factor judge LA Reid to work on her music.

"I am so excited about coming over to the states and working with LA Reid," Cher said. "LA is a musical genius and has been such a great supporter of me. Now I just cannot wait to get on that stage and for everyone to hear my music."

It's rumoured that Cher will be releasing her current single, Want U Back, in the US in April. And with a sneaky rap by the US X Factor's Astro stuck into the middle of the song, we think it'll go down rather well across the pond.

We are slightly concerned, however, that with The Wanted, One Direction and now Cher Lloyd all taking America be storm, there'll be no pop acts left for us!
