It's so interesting to see from the sky something you have seen many times before from the ground.
Maxime Landry, a cameraman and reporter, snapped this impressive picture from a helicopter and uploaded it to Twitter on the morning of Feb. 29. "Un stade olympique se sort le cou ce matin!" he wrote as the caption. Loosely translated, it means: "The Olympic Stadium showed its neck this morning."
The low-lying clouds give the impression the top of the O is floating on the clouds like a sea monster just barely sticking its head above the water.
Landry has a bunch of other images of Montreal from the sky, giving a different perspective on the city, on his Twitter feed.
