Cat appears to sing along with Bob Seger’s ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’

There's a new Bob Seger impersonator on the scene with a certain feline quality.

The cat gives a show-stealing performance of Seger's Old Time Rock and Roll in a video uploaded by the pet entertainment website Petsami. Don't look too closely; you might ruin the illusion if you watch the person tickling the cat's tail off-camera and making it babble like it's singing.

The video has earned nearly 220,000 views since it was uploaded on June 20.

Another rockin' cat takes a different approach, punctuating Collective Soul's song Shine with its signature kitty vocals.

But can these singing kitties beat the combined talents of Rapping Dog and The Singing Cats? The group, featured in videos by Hidden Track TV, consists of Barry the Dog, Mylo the Cat and sometimes Cleo the Cat. These performers have been entertaining YouTube for years.
