Couple stages playful, costumed wedding at Clownfest

Patty Kulwicki wore an orange wig and a red spot on her nose at her wedding to Billy Tedeski, who wore a costume befitting a man who's been a clown for 41 years.

The marriage of a professional clown to his fiancee on Friday wasn't complete without a few puns, a fishing reel gag and a Jeopardy-themed moment of suspense before "I do."

Romance blossomed among squeezable red noses and colourful wigs at Clownfest in Lancaster, PA, because two playful lovers decided to tie the knot while clowning around.

Patty Kulwicki wore an orange wig and a red spot on her nose at her wedding to Billy Tedeski, who wore a costume befitting a man who's been a clown for 41 years, according to PennLive.

Kulwicki reeled her soon-to-be-husband in with a fishing rod at the beginning of a ceremony filled with silly gags. But they weren't kidding about the marriage.

The couple, who are from Pittsburgh, told PennLive that clowning was part of how they grew to love each other and the audience of clowns was full of people they considered family.

"I've had two wives, but she's my first partner," Kulwicki told PennLive, "We mesh so wonderfully," he said.

Believe it or not, these two aren't the first to plan a clown wedding, nor the last.
