Deer crashes through window of Ohio classroom

A Kings media class got an unexpected assignment when a deer crashed through a classroom window.

A junior high teacher in Ohio received an unexpected visitor yesterday when a deer crashed through the school's window.

The teacher and two students were in the room at Kings Junior High School in Warren County when the animal burst in to join the conversation, according to WLWT Cincinnati.

High school students who were working on a media project at the time rushed over to record the incident.

The footage shows the deer limping around the classroom after it leaped through the window and went sliding across the floor.

A history teacher who was also a deer farmer told the news station he called his mother to bring a tranquilizer gun. Authorities removed the sedated animal and the school has closed that classroom until the window is repaired.

Sadly, the injured deer died a short time later.
