Dubliners, beware of Devil Cat: stand in the way of this mewling feline's hunt for cookies and he'll zap you with his piercing yellow eyes.

A black and white cat in Dublin, Ireland, whose real name is Henry, was labelled Devil Cat recently after a woman posted a video of his stealthy invasion into her kitchen. YouTube user Caroline H posted the video, which shows a cat trying to hide behind her kitchen curtains. When she beckons the cat, he gives two low meows the homeowner interprets as the words "go away." Then he knocks over her dish tray in a scramble to escape from the window.

Caroline H explained the scenario in the video's description, saying the smell of cookies had drawn the cat inside:

Heard a noise in the kitchen after dinner and this is what happened. I don't know who's cat it is but I want it.

Disclaimer: No cat was harmed in the filming of this video. The cat safely left the house after I stopped filming. This cat was a invader after our cookies. Please keep all doors and windows closed to protect yourself against rogue angry cats.

The video has been viewed more than 250,000 times and it's received a response from a woman named Emily Coffey, who says Devil Cat isn't possessed by Satan or cookie monster; he's just her pet cat Henry.

When asked if Henry had gone missing, Emily Coffey responded no, but he likes to roam.

Coffey uploaded a video response in which she confronts Henry about the Devil Cat accusation. His answer is open to interpretation.
