Curiosity may have killed the cat, but what did it have in store for the dog?

Never ending entertainment, apparently.

A beach-dwelling canine named Sheila was enjoying a long walk on Guanico Beach in Panama, when she decided that she wanted to have some seaside fun.

But first she needed a willing – or unwilling – friend.

In the video, Sheila is seen with her head buried in the sand as she digs a deep hole. The dog, who must’ve done this before judging by her sheer skill, is then rewarded when a crab is uncovered from under the wet, grey sand.

The crab tries to make a break for it, but Sheila’s fun has just begun.

The canine begins chasing the crab up and down the beach, while occasionally swatting it lightly with a paw.

The crab eventually gets defensive and stands up to the dog, which is at least 50-times its size, by putting its claws up.

Sheila, unafraid by the bout of bravery, lies down next to the crab with a watchful eye in case it tries to bolt.

Since being uploaded to YouTube last month, the adorable video has racked up more than 845,000 views.

The only one who must not have found the video cute was the crab.
