An Irish businessman will get fresh in October to try and break the world record for most bras unclasped in one minute.

The Irish Examiner reported Sean Murray, who owns Sean Murray Fashions in Skibbereen, will try to open more than 69 bras in less than one minute, a feat he must accomplish with one hand to break the record set in 2008 by Dennis Storm.

He must also convince enough volunteers to let him pop off their undergarments, and he's looking for support beneath the shirts of residents in the area.

Murray has scheduled the attempt at his store for Oct. 26 as part of a fundraising event for a breast cancer campaign, during which the shop owner will also try to fit more than 500 women for bras and 500 people for jeans in less than eight hours, according to the Irish Examiner.

You can see the handiwork of past bra-snapping world record-breakers in this YouTube video from when Thomas Vogel unclasped 56 bras in one minute, a world record until Storm's in 2008.

Other records involving unmentionables include the most bras worn and removed in one minute — nine — accomplished by Mia Magma in Germany, and the longest chain of bras, which measured 163.77 kilometres and used 166,625 bras.
