Man’s Netflix tattoo earns a free one-year subscription

A man who inked the Netflix logo onto his side has earned himself a free one-year subscription to the site — worth less than $100.

Twitter user TheRealMyron posted an image of a tattoo that read Netflix on March 8, with a note asking for the company to put him in a commercial. His real name is Myron Robinson and he's from Kokomo, Ind., according to CBC News.

Netflix granted him some of the attention he was after when they replied to his post offering a free year subscription to Netflix.

There's nothing like trading permanent ink for an inexpensive television and movie service subscription, apparently, because Myron replied again, saying he was ecstatic about the gift. A Netflix subscription costs $7.99 per month.

Others pointed out that Netflix really could have offered the man more for providing his body as an advertising canvas. Like, maybe two years? Let's not push it. Myron told the Huffington Post that he admires how Netflix caters to its customers.

So far the company hasn't replied to Myron's request to become a commercial spokesperson but we're holding out for his television debut.
