Nantucket pub finds a five-foot dead shark blocking the door
A shark arrived at a brew pub in Nantucket on Thursday morning — and while this story sounds like the beginning of a joke — the punch line is still a mystery.
The Boston Globe reported staff at the Sea Dog Brew Pub found a dead shark about five feet long blocking the door early Thursday morning.

Public works removed the shark and police are searching for the angry patrons — or pranksters — who appear to have hauled a dead shark about 275 metres from the water.
Twitter is abuzz with declarations that Sharknado has hit Nantucket, in reference to the bizarre film recently broadcast on television. Or is a Shark'easter?
Twitter user Jason Graziedei posted a photo of what he says is the crime scene outside the pub, where a chalk outline in the shape of a shark is drawn near the entrance.

Meanwhile, others are making their own jokes about the incident, including one commenter who smelled something fishy about the explanation.

"I was at the Sea Dog last night and that shark was drinking heavily alone at the bar mumbling aloud about Massachusetts politics and the Red Sox," he wrote.
