Ottawa man selling Lego Stephen Harper

When some people make it big they get an action doll made in their likeness and Prime Minister Stephen Harper seems to be on his way joining the ranks of Harry Potter and Star Wars characters.

An Ottawa man has created a Lego look-alike of the leader and is selling the miniature toy on Kijiji for $50.

Ian, a public servant who didn't want to give his last name, built the figure while playing with his daughter's toys, reports Metro Ottawa.

"Whatever your political leanings, you have to admit it. The PM looks like a Lego figure. He especially looks like this custom Lego figure that I made, right down to the smirk," reads the Kijiji ad. "Don't get me wrong. I mean no disrespect by this. I wish I had a Lego figure that looked that much like myself."

The stiff-postured Lego man comes with grey slacks, a black blazer, a white shirt, a blue tie, a strikingly similar hairdo and a slight smirk.

Ian plans to donate the money from selling the figure to charity. He said the goal is not for people to read into anything, but to raise money and give people a laugh.

While we are not sure who will pay for such a figure, it would be perfect for the kid who likes building and playing politics at the same time.
