Reporter gets the giggles on air, can’t pull himself together

We’re not sure what went on during the commercial break, but it must have been hilarious.

WWAY anchor Daniel Seamans even warned us: The crew had “the tickle bug” — a phrase we can only presume to mean “the giggles.”

Then his co-anchor Makenzi Henderson introduced the next segment about proposed restrictions on fishing expeditions that are angering charter boat captains.

Reporter Chris Brown — not that Chris Brown — however, immediately burst into a fit of giggles and snorts, barely able to spit out the report.

Who knew charter boats were so funny?

In December, footage of the BBC’s Quentin Sommerville ruining take after take with a serious case of the giggles went viral. (We’re assuming the laughter was related to the pile of burning narcotics behind him.)

And last spring, WGRZ weatherman Andy Parker started laughing so hard that he had to walk away — several times. His excuse for the tear-inducing laughs? “Just thinking about a joke.”

When was the last time you laughed uncontrollably — at work?
