Twelve-year-old Hamilton boy rocks out ‘Justin Trudeau Style’

It's no coincidence that Gangnam Style features equestrian-inspired dance moves, because the endless parody videos that continue to flood YouTube reveal this is one dead horse that people still can't seem to get enough of beating.

But the latest offering from 12-year-old aspiring comedian Sam Barringer offers something the other videos don't: Justin Trudeau.

The Hamilton, Ont. student refashioned Psy's lyrics to poke gentle fun at the Liberal Party leader-in-waiting — ribbing everything from Trudeau's lack of canoe paddling prowess to his luxurious head of hair.

Sam is no stranger to satirical videos. The young political enthusiast spoofed the Ontario leaders' debate last year on his YouTube channel and his efforts have even landed him on TVO's The Agenda.

And while his mockery is mild enough to amuse rather than offend, the real takeaway is how great it is to see a young Canadian so interested and informed about politics.
