Video: Man puts his entire head into Tank the grizzly bear’s mouth

“Don’t feed the bears.”

Also ... don’t stick your entire head in a grizzly bear’s mouth.

They might want to add that last part to the bear warning signs after watching this extremely insane and awesome video.

Bear trainer Doug Seus of Utah has been sharing a ranch in the Heber Valley with his wife and their four children … I mean their four grizzly bears.

For the past four decades, the couple has lived on the ranch, training their bears Bart the Bear #1 (who passed away due to cancer in 2000), brother/sister duo Bart #2 and Honey Bump, and of course Tank.

It’s astonishing in the video to watch Doug with these gigantic bears … especially when seeing their gigantic teeth, as well as their gigantic claws.

In the video, Doug is wrestling with Tank … and oh yes, he is certainly a tank. Watch as he sticks his entire head inside Tanks mouth … cringing yet?

Most people don’t have that kind of trust with their own dogs, let alone a 1,300-pound grizzly bear! But Tank is kind of like a big dog in some ways ... he obeys commands like a dog and is very loyal to his owners. He knows when to let go, when to sit, stand, walk and stay. Doug is his master, and he listens to commands better than most house-broken pets!

Because of this, the bears have been used on camera in movies starring A-list celebrities like Eddie Murphy, Jennifer Aniston and even Brad Pitt.

Doug and his wife Lynne have dedicated their lives to developing new ways to raise, treat, and train the animals. When their beloved Bart # 1 died in 2000, the couple made it their mission to ensure the preservation of native forests, grass prairies, and all of the land that plants and other animals shared with Bart.

“My passion for bears started in hiking and being out in the wild with them. Where the grizzly bear lives, it adds dimension to the power of the environment that you’re in,” Seus said in an interview.

He discusses how he spends hours teaching and understanding the behaviors of the bears.

With a love for wildlife, and an even bigger passion for these grizzly bears, Doug spends every day with these gentle giants, putting in time and effort to continue to teach them.

Together, Doug and Lynne created Vital Ground, a charity that helps to protect landscapes used by grizzly bears and other wildlife.
