Global News' Mark McAllister is feeling better after a scary moment during Monday night's broadcast.
McAllister was wrapping up a piece on Libya when he began speaking in gibberish. Watch the clip below.
Global issued a statement saying McAllister "suffered a minor medical issue causing him to experience a moment of disorientation."
The network said paramedics were called and that while the reporter is feeling better, he will be pursuing the matter with his personal doctor. McAllister was back on air Wednesday night.
The scary moment was reminiscent of U.S. reporter's Serena Branson's recent breakdown during an interview at the Grammy awards. The video of that event went viral and led many to speculate she had suffered some form of stroke.
Doctors eventually concluded Branson's incident was caused by a severe headache known as a "migraine with aura" or "complex migraine," which can cause stroke-like symptoms.
McAllister seemed to be back in good spirits Wednesday and obviously hadn't lost his sense of humour, tweeting,"Back to the business of the hard-hitting questions . . . What's with the weather!? What happened to 'spring has sprung?'"
