Ground control to Major Tom: Chris Hadfield sings ‘Space Oddity’

Wow. Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield really knows how to make an exit.

After nearly five months in orbit on board the International Space Station, posting daily images of our planet and posting videos of life on the station, he has released a video of his own version of David Bowie's famous song, Space Oddity.

The entire song and video takes on an even more surreal aspect when it's sung and filmed by someone who is actually 'floating in a most peculiar way' while 'sitting in a tin can, far above the world'.
