Video: Hurricane Sandy’s path of destruction

Hurricane Sandy is expected to be one of the most destructive storms in U.S. history, and it's expected to cause extensive damage to Canada's East Coast as well.

The centre of the storm is expected to reach shore in New Jersey Monday night, meaning the most damage is expected in New York City and northern New Jersey. But the damaging effects of Sandy have already been felt along the East Coast.

In Rodanthe, N.C., a beachside home was torn apart by flood waters and strong winds:
