Edythe Kirchmaier, 105, is Facebook's oldest registered user.

She's also California's oldest driver — with a perfect driving record.

Fun fact: The centenarian actually learned to drive on a Ford Model T.

Kirchmaier has been volunteering for Direct Relief, a charity which provides free medications for people in need, for 40 years.

When her 1997 minivan began breaking down, a generous good Samaritan wanted to ensure that Kirchmaier could keep working for the cause she loved — and anonymously bought her a brand-new 2013 Honda Civic.

"I'm touched by the generosity of an anonymous person who surprised me with a new car yesterday. My friends at Direct Relief gave me a special parking spot for it. My new car fits in just right!" Kirchmaier wrote on Facebook, posting an accompanying photo of her new car.

If Kirchmaier looks familiar to you, it may be because she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno earlier this year to talk about her long life, her impressive driving record — and to promote Direct Relief.
