All you need is a love — and a little help from a rock legend.

On May 9, Sir Paul McCartney paused his concert in Fortaleza, Brazil, to let a fan propose onstage. The sweet moment was "a first," he claimed.

A bold concertgoer held up a sign at the show:

"Paul, I want to propose to my love onstage. Would you bless us?"

McCartney saw the sign and played along, giving the couple an engagement story they'll be retelling for decades.

"Listen, we have a special thing tonight. One of the signs in the audience was for a boy and a girl. And the boy said he wants to propose to his girlfriend onstage. What do you think?" McCartney asked the crowd before giving the thumbs-up sign. "Yeah? We gotta do it."

McCartney invited the love birds onstage where the husband-to-be dropped to one knee — after a little encouragement from McCartney — and proposed to his Beatles-loving girlfriend in Portuguese.

McCartney hugged the happy couple, then continued with his show.

In 2010, McCartney and his crew helped a fan propose to his girlfriend in the front row.
