Brampton car crash and fire leaves 4 dead, Peel police say

Memorial set up for couple, sister who died in Brampton crash

Peel Regional Police said four people are dead after a fiery crash left two vehicles completely destroyed in Brampton on Monday night.

The collision happened at Bovaird Drive and Gillingham Drive, near Hurontario Street. Police, paramedics and firefighters all raced to the scene.

Video from the scene shows flames pouring from two vehicles before firefighters could put it out.

Bovaird Drive is closed between Hurontario and McLaughlin Road while the major collision bureau investigates.

Police haven't released the identities of the victims at this time nor said what caused the crash.
