Bruins down Capitals in OT to force Game 7

The Boston Bruins' hopes of defending their Stanley Cup championship remain alive, thanks to Tyler Seguin's overtime goal at 3:17 against Washington in Game 6 of the NHL Eastern Conference quarter-final.

Seguin made a pretty move around Capitals goalie Braden Holtby and deposited the puck in the net for a 4-3 win as the Bruins started to receive some production from their top forwards. Seguin added an assist while David Krejci also scored and power forward Milan Lucic added two assists.

Andrew Ference gave Boston a 3-2 lead midway through the third period, but Capitals left-winger Alex Ovechkin evened matters a little more than three minutes later.

Tim Thomas kicked aside 36 of 39 shots in the Bruins net for the win.
