The Ignition program offers entrepreneurs a chance to receive up to $25,000 in government funding to help get their business up and running.
People who want the money have to have a startup idea and the operation has to be on P.E.I.
Last year the Ignition program received 46 applications and eight entrepreneurs received grants in January.
