Calgary father of slain realtor offers $500,000 reward

Lindsay Buziak's father is offering a $500,000 reward for information that leads to her killers being convicted.

A Calgary father is hoping a substantial reward will help solve the mystery of his daughter's death four years ago.

Lindsay Buziak, a realtor, was stabbed to death in Saanich, B.C. while she was showing a $1-million house to people she presumed were potential buyers.

Despite collecting hundreds of leads over the years, police could find no motive for the 24-year-old’s brutal killing. No arrests have ever been made in the case.

Jeff Buziak is now offering a half million dollars for information that leads to a conviction.

“It’s hell on earth,” he said. “We remain distraught over this.”

Buziak said he is determined to bring his daughter’s killers to justice.

“Criminals killed her so they're motivated by money. These are lazy bums that are high school drop outs and half wits that don't want to fit in to society. They're looking for the easy way out,” he said.

“So, if their motivation is money, well let’s give them some money and let’s find out who did this.”

The mystery of Buziak’s killing was featured on the NBC program Dateline in 2010.
