Two Calgary men have been charged and police are seeking a third person in relation to a homicide last year.
During the early morning of June 21, 2011, police responded to a call on Marcombe Drive N.E. and discovered three injured residents.
All three were transported to hospital where 53-year-old Cuong Viet Doan of Calgary was pronounced dead. A woman in her 50s and a man in his 20s were also injured.
Jeffery Thomas McPherson, 30 and Joshua John Smith, 23, have both been charged with first-degree murder, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
McPherson is also facing an attempted murder charge. Both he and Smith are in custody on unrelated matters.
An Alberta-wide warrant has been issued for Ngoc Tran Thang, 26, also known as Lilly, for conspiracy to commit and indictable offence of break and enter with intent to commit robbery.
