Car flies through trees in Rothesay neighbourhood

Kennebecasis Regional Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in a Rothesay subdivision Wednesday evening.

An 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital after her car left the road at the corner of Iona Avenue and Eriskay Place, became airborne, travelled through trees, struck a vehicle and then hit a garage.

The extent of her injuries is unknown.

The woman's car and the garage received extensive damage, police said.

Speed was a factor, but alcohol was not involved, said police.

The accident is under investigation.
