Carjacking from Calgary 7-Eleven prompts police hunt
Calgary police are looking for two men after a carjacking in the northeast just before midnight on Thursday night.
A man was sitting in his vehicle at a 7-Eleven parking lot on 16th Avenue near Edmonton Trail N.E., police said.
He was approached by two men who threatened him with a weapon before taking off in the victim’s older model Pontiac Grand Am.
The car was spotted a few times around the city, but the suspects and the stolen vehicle are still at large, police said.
The victim was shaken but not injured.
