Charges laid in Edmonton Amber Alert

A man and a woman face charges in last week’s Amber Alert where three children were allegedly abducted from a home in Edmonton.

The 50-year-old man and 31-year-old woman each face three counts of abandoning a child and causing a child to be in need of intervention.

The man faces an additional charge of housebreaking and commit assault.

Police were alerted around 9:40 a.m. Friday that three boys were taken from the Edmonton home. The Amber Alert was issued at 12:24 p.m.
