Crews extinguish fire in Winnipeg industrial park
Fire crews have extinguished flames on the roof of a building in Winnipeg's Inkster Industrial Park.
The building, at 55 Bentall Street, is home to Wood Wyant. The company specializes in disinfection, cleaning, sanitation and water treatment products.
Fire chief Capt. Ken Brunen said the call came in at about 6:30 a.m. The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the outside of the roof.
The cause of the fire is not known but a construction company has been working on the roof.
The intersection of Mountain Avenue and Bentall remains blocked to traffic as crews investigate and monitor for hot spots.
