Did Viola Davis Lie To Clooney About Skydiving After Oscar Wins?

Viola Davis and George Clooney are both being considered as frontrunners in the Oscar race, but the star of "The Help" says she lied to "The Descendants'" leading man about taking a leap out of an airplane if they both take home Oscars next month.

Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson got to the bottom of the skydiving promise that appears to have been a fib on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night.

"You told George that if both of you won Oscars, that you were going to jump out of a plane together. Then you backed off. Where are you standing today?" Shaun asked Viola, who took home the SAG Award for Outstanding Lead Actress on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

"It was a total and complete lie, but I'll watch him jump out of a plane," she said. "With some champagne ready!"

The actress said her job on the big screen is thrilling enough for her.

"I don't need to do that to make me feel alive - jump out of a plane," she said. "I'm an actor, that's like skydiving every day."

"So what if both of you guys get Oscars, what are you going to do? How are you going to celebrate?" Shaun asked.

"He's going to invite me to his villa, all expenses paid," she said of George's Lake Como home in Italy.

As for George, he's not surprised that Viola backed out of her Oscar promise.

"She chickened out didn't she?" George said with a smile on the SAG red carpet. "Here's the funniest thing, she's the one that suggested jumping out of a plane and then she backed out. [Now,] she's insisting that I go out of a plane? That's a little manipulative of her!"

George also revealed that another pair of his big screen pals are also welcomed at his villa, if they should decide to take a trip down the aisle. Find out the details, HERE!

George Clooney should NOT be considered for an oscar. Ya put on a hawaiian shirt on and sit at a desk and that's how you portray a workaholic hawaiian attorney? Come on...where is the acting? No attorney like characteristics ...type A...Just George Clooney being George Clooney in a colorful shirt!

Clooney is too much of a pansy to sky dive. He would have to wear a helmet, which would mess up his hair!

She smells like a token black winner for Best Actress.
Halle Berry won 10 years ago, but she is so super hot
that nobody noticed she's black. That's why they have
to make up for it this year.
